Large Leaf Sorrel plant start
You will receive a well established sorrel plant and it is highly recommended that you plant in the ground immediately after receiving. These will be bare-root and packed in moistened wood medium.
This is a super delicious, large-leaf variety of garden sorrel. It's very hardy once established in the garden. This sorrel self-seeds prolifically so it can have a tendency to get weedy if not intentionally managed. Not a problem for plant propagators, of course!. Once this sorrel develops a large clump it propagates well by division.
We love adding the leaves to salads for a nice tangy bite, and we are experimenting with the idea of supplying local markets due to the abundance of leaves this plant provides.
Produces best in full-sun conditions but will also do well in part-sun.
